Community

aR is a community of like minded multi-sport endurance athletes. We pride ourselves on being approachable and supportive of all persons, skills, and abilities. Our athletes follow the basic credo of “RACING acidotic” which to us means giving nothing less than everything we have while displaying the highest measure of sportsmanship to our fellow competitors, race officials, volunteers, and spectators. An important part of that community involves our families as we attempt to strike a balance between our competitive lives and our loved ones. We partner with businesses to add value to team membership through marketing for product in kind trades. This allows us to reward teammates for “RACING acidotic” and representing our brand. Finally, volunteering is an important element of team participation. Throughout the year there are multiple opportunities to volunteer at our events.

“I love acidotic RACING for the people, the camaraderie, support and the wonderful events that aR puts on. I also really like the fact that volunteerism and donating to charities are a huge part of what aR does.”

“aR is a throwback to when running clubs were in it for their members, not their bottom line. aR really cares about the communities and gives freely to worthy charities. aR is family.”

“I joined aR to be surrounded by like-minded athletes, who revel in competition and adventure. aR is also an incredible resource to hear about extremely hard and/or unique races, trails systems all over New England, and discussions related to performance and gear.”

RACING acidotic

Regardless of where you finish, it’s how you finish that matters. Our philosophy is to give nothing less than everything we have while displaying the highest measure of sportsmanship to our fellow competitors, race officials, volunteers, and spectators. We are also committed to helping those in our communities who are less fortunate. Not only do our events benefit non-profits, but throughout the year we are involved in a number of charitable giving campaigns and are very proud of the thousands of dollars we’ve raised over the years. Each of our athletes are keenly aware of how fortunate they are to be able do the things they do. That’s why they are so generous with their time, energy, and resources.
